Safety at Sports Grounds

Had a great day yesterday visiting Bath Rugby Union club listening to some interesting discussions/presentations hosted by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers on the experience of professional people within UK Sports Stadiums. References were made on design principles, safety, fire strategy, match/event day issues & liaison with other agencies including Fire & Rescue Service. Premises included venues such as London Olympics 2012, Olympic Stadium, Aquatic stadium, Velodrome, Bath RUFC, Plymouth Argyle FC.
